2024 Catbacker Tour- Manhattan Stop
May 20, 2024, at the Outdoor Football Field at the Shamrock Practice Facility, 6–9 pm.
Just east of the Bill Snyder Family Stadium
This year we are working hand-in-hand with K-State Athletics and K-State Alumni Association to create a family-friendly event that is free and open to the community.
Attendees will hear from our emcee Wyatt Thompson, The Voice of the Wildcats, a number of K-State coaches and student athletes. Featured coaches include Men’s Basketball Coach Jerome Tang!
The event will not include a meal, but we will have food trucks in the parking lot so you can eat in the parking lot early. They will open at 5:30 pm. Then you can join the event at 6 pm. and the program will begin at 7 p.m.
Make sure you and your family register today in the form below, and you’ll get a chance to win great drawing prizes at the event!
The evening will include:
Food trucks to enjoy in tailgate mode in the parking lot, or bring your own meal and tailgate to pre-game before the event
Bathrooms will be available at the stadium
The event is free and open to the public; we as that you register so we can get a headcount
You’ll be able to get your picture taken with Willie the Wildcat and the K-State Cheer team
Try on the gear and Dress like a Wildcat football, soccer or baseball player

The gates to the Shamrock Outdoor Facility will open at 6:30 p.m.
Interactive football, basketball and baseball games will be available for the kids to play
Student-athletes will be available to sign autographs on-site and will be throwing t-shirts to the crowd
Wyatt Thompson will start the program at 7, and you’ll hear from Men’s Basketball Head Coach Jerome Tang along with other coaches and players.
Please bring your camping/game chairs or blankets to set on the field for the program portion, as there will not be chairs set up
The fun will continue this summer, and you can join us for our annual Catbacker Banquet & Auction, where you’ll get the chance to hear from Ring of Honor Quarterback Michael Bishop!
